
Piercing Appointment Terms & Conditions
By booking a piercing appointment with Factotum, you agree to all of the terms and conditions listed below.
*IMPORTANT COVID-19 VACCINATION TERMS: We are unable to pierce or tattoo any individuals for 14 days before – and 14 days after – a COVID-19 vaccination. Please bear this in mind, when booking your piercing or tattoo appointment.
*IMPORTANT TERMS:
–Please note we are unable to pierce you, if you’re pregnant or breast feeding/nursing.
–Vertical lip piercings cannot be performed on lips with fillers.
Please note the following age restrictions for piercings. Photographic ID – or parental accompaniment – will be required at the beginning of your appointment. If you’re under the required age, for the piercing booked at the time of your appointment, your appointment will be cancelled and your deposit retained.
- 8+ with Parental Consent: Lobe Piercing, single or pair.
We can only do a single set of lobe piercings on under 10’s, you MUST be 10 or older for more than one pair of lobe piercings, referred to as “seconds”
- 14+ with Parental Consent: Helix Piercing, Flat Piercing, Tragus Piercing, Conch Piercing, Nostril Piercing
- 16+ with Photo ID: Lobe Piercing, Nostril Piercing, Septum Piercing, Oral Piercings (excluding tongue), Eyebrow Piercing, Navel Piercing, All Cartilage Piercings
- 18+ with Photo ID: Nipple Piercing, Dermal Piercing, Tongue Piercings, Surface Piercing, Genital Piercing
IMPORTANT: Parental Consent requires that a parent or legal guardian – of the person being pierced – is present at the booking and with proof of their identity. Any appointments made, where this is a term of booking – but that are attended without the parent or guardian present – will be cancelled and any deposits paid will be retained in full.
All prices listed for booking are the starting costs, and can vary dependent on the jewellery selected. We stock a wide variety of options for you to select from, at your appointment.
All bookings cancelled with less than 48 hours notice provided, will not have their deposit refunded.
Please familiarise yourself with our ‘Piercing Aftercare‘ recommendations, to ensure you’re fully equipped to take care of your fresh piercing, whilst it’s healing.
