What would you consider your signature style?
Suminagashi inspired abstract black work and brutalist neo-traditional
Tell us about your experience and influences:
I’ve been tattooing for 9 years, having completed an apprenticeship in North London. I have worked in a few different styles over my career, starting with traditional, graduating towards a love for bold contrast and eventually developing towards my current love of high contrast black work. I’ve traveled across the UK doing guest spots and learning from others as I go, which lead me to Factotum.
I take inspiration from Japanese marbling techniques, religious iconography and brutalist architecture.
My biggest inspirations would be Alphonse Mucha, Josh Stephens and Escher.
